in 2011. She graduated with honors from
Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg, Florida. Meighan earned her Master’s from Bocconi
University in Milan, Italy and her undergraduate degree in Political Science
from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
During law school Meighan earned a pro bono service award for her work
promoting access to legal information and services for immigrants. She was among a select group of students
chosen to participate in the Honors Program at Stetson. Meighan gained experience by clerking
throughout law school with a firm handling complex civil litigation. Ms. Vargas has been selected to participate in the Georgia Bar Young Lawyer’s Division Leadership Academy for 2012. She is also a member of Phi Delta Phi honors group. Ms. Vargas is admitted to practice in the Superior Courts of Georgia. She is fluent in Spanish and Italian and also speaks French and Portuguese. |
